Trump Supporter Gives Up Over Stormy Daniels Affair

NASHVILLE – “This is disgraceful!” said Fred Nelneck, a former coal miner and a Trump supporter until that very moment. He was watching cable news coverage of adult film actress Stormy Daniels’ lawsuit against President Trump.

Ms. Daniels alleges she was paid $130,000 in hush money during the 2016 presidential election to keep quiet a 2006 affair she had with President Trump after the birth of his youngest son.

After having faithfully followed President Trump and stuck by him since 2015, Mr. Nelneck says this finally goes over the line.

“I was okay with his first two marriages ending in divorce and affairs, I let it slide when he was credibly accused of abusing or even raping 17 women, and I even enjoyed when he endorsed a pedophile for Alabama Senator two months ago.  I was fine with him insulting John McCain, that disabled reporter, and the father of a dead US soldier. But to demean this porn star? When they already had a settled agreement to keep quiet about it? That’s too far for this MAGA guy.”

Mr. Nelneck was further irritated by the erosion of the US government’s integrity when the president could be so caught up in scandal.

“I mean, firing James Comey and then publicly lambasting the FBI and Jeff Sessions in repeated, nakedly political, hauntingly authoritarian attempts to subvert the Justice Department and end the Russia investigation, were just you know, ‘nobody’s perfect’ kinda stuff.  You know?” he said.

“But settling a potential lawsuit over a sexual affair twelve years ago?  Not being on the same page with your Press Secretary?  I mean, I have kids!  How am I going to explain this to them?”

Mr. Nelneck said he was officially off the Trump train, but that he could still “fondly reminisce of the good old days, watching TV with my six-year-old son, as a leader I believed in called Nazis ‘good people.’”
